I am a native Southern Californian with over 15 years of wedding and event planning experience. After obtaining a degree in Communication from the University of Southern California, I landed a job as Catering Manager for the world famous Beverly Wilshire Hotel, A Four Seasons Hotel. While at the Hotel, I discovered all the organization and details that make up a flawless and successful wedding.

After leaving the Beverly Wilshire, I produced, co-produced and worked on numerous weddings with of the biggest titans of the industry. It was a very exciting time for me and I so enjoyed being a part of so many amazing events.

The more events I worked on, the more I wanted to share the my knowledge with all couples. And so, The Wedding Course was born and became my passion, because every couple deserves to enjoy their wedding day!

My goal is to share everything I’ve learned from freelancing and working at a hotel with couples so they feel confident navigating their wedding planning. I like teaching my couples the questions to ask and what they need to know, so they can be confident they’re getting the most out of their wedding budget.

I have always known that I wanted a career in hospitality and special events. As a young girl, I remember playing hotel and setting up a front desk and room service for my family. I should’ve know that when I planned my first prom, I was destined to be an event planner. The next step in my planning journey was attending the University of Denver, to study hospitality and restaurant management.

My life in events started in Phoenix, Arizona at the legendary Arizona Biltmore Hotel, followed by the St. Regis in Los Angeles and the Beverly Hills Hotel. I spent most of the past decade in the private event space, working closely with creative professionals on every type of event imaginable. Along the way, I produced weddings of all sizes and budgets, ranging from smaller more intimate settings to weddings that had celebrity entertainment as a highlight. I’ve been so fortunate to work with some of the most talented professionals in the event industry.

My love of working with and learning from all kinds of people is what keeps me going. More than 20 years later, after so many different experiences, it feels like the natural next step to share what I’ve learned with newly engaged couples around the country. The Wedding Course is our way of holding your hand and making sure your day is seamless and beautiful. No matter the size of the wedding or budget, we can guide you on your journey.
